About First Nations Foundation
"We want to be offering hope for the future." First Nations Foundation Chairman Paul Briggs on his vision for an Australia in which Indigenous Australians have control over their jobs, their money, their health and spiritual wellbeing. (The Age, May 4, 2009)
First Nations Foundation (FNF) was established in 2006 with the vision of enabling Indigenous Australians to make informed decisions about thier financial wellbeing, in turn securing a sound economic future for themselves and their communities.
Two paths are considered important in achieving this vision for Indigenous Australians: encouraging financial inclusion and building financial literacy. In pursuit of these goals, First Nations Foundation plays a vital leadership role in promoting the development of strong and sustainable relationships between Indigenous Australians and the financial sector.
